Don’t Miss These Pros And Cons Of Vivo V7!

The sub-20k segment of the Indian smartphone market is beaming with options. No matter whether you are looking for a great selfie-phone or need something that’s high on performance, there’s something for every buyer. Vivo, which is known for its obsession with selfie-focused phones, has again come up with a new launch – the Vivo V7. Does it fare well on the scale? Here’s a quick take. Before take, it must be mentioned that Vivo V7 price in India is slightly below 20k, but there are some great offers on the block.

What’s great?

Vivo V7 is being promoted for its selfie camera, and on that account, it doesn’t disappoint at all. It has a 24MP shooter on the front, which clicks credible pictures even in low light. We tried clicking live pictures and images on the go, and the response was fantastic. With that said, the 16MP rear camera is not bad either. It doesn’t really have the depth of the front counterpart, but with more features, this does offer bang for your buck. Vivo V7 also packs the Smart Split 3.0 feature, which allows you to use two apps at the same time. Many may feel that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor for this price is a tad underwhelming, but we tried the phone on extensive use, and there were no lags. There are heating issues with the device either. The 18:9 aspect ratio for the display does work better for the device, and 3000mAh battery offers good charge for a day.

On the flip side

Vivo V7 comes with a 5.7-inch IPS FullView display, and for that price, you would expect a full-HD display. While the device does come with 4GB RAM, Vivo has reduced the memory to just 32GB, which is again not appreciated, given that Vivo V7 Plus gets 64 GB. We also had an issue with Funtouch OS 3.2, which is fork of Android 7.1.2 Nougat but feels very similar to iOS in terms of features. If you are someone who loves the stock Android experience, this might take a while.

Final verdict

Well, Vivo V7 isn’t a bad device, but when you compare it with Vivo V7 Plus, it does feel a bit underwhelming, even with the lower price tag. However, if you a 5.99-inch screen of Vivo V7 Plus seems too much, Vivo V7 might be a better choice. Many online stores are offering great discounts on the device, so you can always find a good deal. Overall, Vivo V7 is meant for selfie lovers, and those who are just looking for a good camera, they won’t be disappointed. Vivo hopefully does better with its next launch as far as replacing the plastic body is concerned.
